MIN3-AC is a type of protective and controlling accessories which can be installed in power system and widely used in winding systems of high power transformers and furnace switching-on. The working principle of MIN3-AC is quite simple. Its core part is the embedded control system composed of electromagnetic relay and integrated circuit. The current transformer will be used to convert the rest current from the system into secondary current which will be further divided into two parts, one to the sensing circuit and the other to the operating circuit, so as to make sure the control of the over-current. When the rest current from the system remain above the pre-set threshold value, the electromagnetic relay will be activated to cut off the power supply in order to avoid the fault of the equipment.

Moreover, MIN3-AC has over-voltage protection and under-voltage protection. The over-voltage protection will monitor the voltage level of the system by using the electric resistance and control the circuit breaker to turn off the power when the measured voltage exceeds the threshold value. The under-voltage protection will detect the voltage difference between two ends of the circuit to protect the winding system from the damage caused by low voltage.
