Working Principle

The MJN1C-DC12 is a normally-open, single-coil power relay designed to provide reliable switching performance in highly sensitive and critical applications. The power relay consists of two contacts, one is the normally-open contact (NO) and the other is the normally-closed contact (NC). The MJN1C-DC12 relies on the coil current to move the armature to close the electrical circuit, switching on/off the desired load. When the input voltage is applied, the coil current creates a magnetic force, generating enough power to close the NO contact. When the input voltage is removed, the magnetic force weakens and the armature returns to its original position, opening the NO contact and switching the output off.
