The MK2049-45SILF is a high-accuracy, low-jitter clock generator, phase-lock loop (PLL), frequency synthesizer and fanout buffer. It is designed for applications requiring reliable and accurate frequency conversion, such as telecom and datacom systems, as well as a variety of general purpose timing applications. The device provides four low noise and high phase-to-phase accuracy outputs from a single-ended input frequency range of 8 kHz to 340 MHz, or from differential inputs with unlimited frequency range. It can also be used to generate clock frequencies from 1 MHz up to 2.4 GHz.The MK2049-45SILF is a well-characterized, low noise and highly configurable clock generator, PLL and frequency synthesizer. It features three banks of frequency programmable analog control voltages, each configurable as either a static frequency or a ramp input. It has an integrated high frequency reference oscillator and supports a variety of configurable features, including single-ended input, differential input, high frequency synthesizer and user-programmable divider cascades. The device also has a wide frequency range, from 8 kHz to 340 MHz or from 1 MHz up to 2.4 GHz.The MK2049-45SILF supports single-ended as well as differential inputs. It also provides differential outputs and externally-driven reference oscillators. It has a 0.14% per-channel phase-lock loop bandwidth with a typical settling time of 25µs and is capable of operating up to 800 MHz. The device has a 32-bit frequency divider which can be programmed to generate any frequency up to a maximum of 2.4 GHz. It also features an MCU-programmable 50-ohm CMOS output divider, an internal phase-lock loop, and a differential output amplifier.The MK2049-45SILF also has adjustable gain and output level settings. It has an on-chip digital phase and frequency detector and supports multiple phase-lock loops for improved accuracy.
