The MK2049-45SITR is a low-power clock generator, phase-locked loop (PLL) and frequency synthesizer that provide universal clock signals for communications systems, digital audio, instrumentation and other systems. It is designed to operate at both the 3.3 Volt and 5.0 Volt logic levels, and can generate up to 48 clock frequencies at up to 125 MHz, while also providing programmable failing and holdover modes.The MK2049-45SITR can generate up to 48 frequencies at any 3.3 Volt or 5.0 Volt logic level. It has two independent clock channels, each with a programmable output frequency and duty cycle. The device features programmable duty cycles of 0:100%, 5:95%, 10:90%, 15:85%, 20:80%, 25:75%, 30:70%, 35:65% and 40:60%. The frequencies can also be divided by an onboard divider.The MK2049-45SITR provides an on-chip voltage regulator, allowing the device to work with either a 3.3 Volt or 5.0 Volt supply. The device also includes an independent Programmable Failing and Holdover timer, allowing the channels to switch from normal operation to a holdover mode in the event of a power failure or external clock failure. The device is designed for low-voltage, low-power applications, and consumes very little power when in operation.The MK2049-45SITR also features an integrated temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO), allowing for frequency stability and high accuracy. The TCXO operates over the 0 - 70 °C temperature range, and provides enhanced holdover and on-board power sequencing features.The MK2049-45SITR combines the functions of clock generator, PLL, and frequency synthesizer in a single package. It is ideal for applications such as 3G/4G communication systems, digital audio, instrumentation, and other systems requiring multiple clock signals.
