MMBZ5259BS-7-F consists of seven 500mW Zener diodes connected in parallel and packed in a Surface Mounted Device (SMD) package. This device is designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of the industrial, commercial, and consumer products and applications that require small size and uniform Zener characteristics.

The application field of MMBZ5259BS-7-F can be classified into two aspects. Firstly, the MMBZ5259BS-7-F can be used as a voltage regulator. As the figure shows below, the series connection of R1, R2, and MMBZ5259BS-7-F can provide a highly reliable supply voltage, regardless of variations in the AC voltage supply and load current. R1 and R2 act as a series-regulated amplifier, so the voltage across them (as shown in the figure) is a constant which is the same as the breakdown voltage of the zener diode.
