MMPF0100F0AEP SMARTMOS Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) Offers a highly programmable/configurable architecture with fully integrated power devices and minimal external components. Up to six bucks converter, six linear regulators, RTC power supply and coin cell charger, The PF0100 can power the entire system, including the application processors, memory and system peripherals in a wide range of applications. PF0100 features on-chip one-time programmable (OTP) memory In pre-programmed standard versions, or not programmed to support custom programming. PF0100 is defined to power the entire embedded MCU Platform solutions such as i.MX 6 based e-readers, IPTV, medical monitoring and Home/Factory Automation.

During operation, the temperature of the die should not exceed the operating junction temperature. To optimize Thermal management and avoid overheating, PF0100 provides thermal protection. Internal comparator monitoring chip temperature. Interrupts THERM110I, THERM120I, THERM125I, and THERM130I are crossed in either direction when the corresponding threshold is specified. The temperature range can be determined by reading the THERMxxxS bits in the INTENSE0 register. The thermal protection circuit will shut down the PF0100 if the power dissipation is too large. This thermal protection is higher than Listed thermal protection thresholds. To avoid any unnecessary power outage due to internal noise, the protection is debounced for 8.0 ms. This protection should be considered a fail-safe mechanism, so the system should be configured so that the protection does not trip under normal conditions.
