Crystals are solid materials whose constituent atoms, molecules or ions are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure called a lattice. Crystals possess an ordered internal structure and a symmetrical external shape. All crystals have an atomic structure that displays a repeating pattern in 3 dimensions.

MP100 application field and working principle

The MP100 is an advanced single-axis servo motor system developed by Yaskawa. It uses a built-in step motor and electronic commutation to drive the load, and has a variety of built-in functions such as Anti-Sway and Position Control. It can be applied to a wide range of applications, such as machine tools, robots, textile equipment and conveyance systems.

The working principle of the MP100 is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. A permanent magnet is used to create a magnetic field, which is then used to induce an electric current in a coil. The current then produces a magnetic field, which is in turn used to give a force on the armature, thus producing a rotational motion.

The MP100 has an advanced anti-sway control algorithm which can effectively reduce the sway of the axis, eliminating the need for manual calibration of the load in order to maintain a stable position. The MP100 also has a built-in position control algorithm which enables the system to accurately follow a set type of movement, such as linear or circular motion. The system is also able to control the speed and direction of the load when operating in position control mode.

In addition, the MP100 has a built-in temperature sensor which is used to detect the temperature of the motor and take appropriate action, such as automatically switching off the motor when the temperature exceeds a set limit.
