MP3394SGY-Z Working Principle
The MP3394SGY-Z is based on a synchronous buck topology powered by an external PMOS FET. The device operates in a 900 kHz to 1200 kHz voltage converter frequency range. This enables it to provide high efficiency power conversion and low EMI (electromagnetic interference).
Initially, the chip’s two MOSFETs establish the required output voltage level. The chip then uses a proprietary current mode control with adaptive ON time to regulate the output current.
