The MP3412EJ-LF-P LED driver is a member of the PMIC – LED driver series coming from Richtek Technology Corporation. It is designed to drive single-channel LED or up to 8-channel LED strings with a constant current output in cost-effective applications. Typical applications include LCD monitor, HDTV, desktop and notebook computer backlighting, consumer product backlighting, automotive instrument panel and cluster applications.

The MP3412EJ-LF-P LED Driver features a high-side switch, boosting the input voltage up to a level that can drive the LED strings with a constant current. The LED driver also offers a wide input voltage range (4.5V to 28V). Moreover, the MP3412EJ-LF-P LED driver also has a wide selectable output current (20mA to 1000mA).
