MP4575GF Application Field and Working PrincipleThe MP4575GF is a new generation of DC-DC switching regulator designed to meet various application requirements. The MP4575GF is a synchronous step-down regulator with a PWM (pulse width modulation) mode, adjustable output voltage and switching frequency, output channel current up to 5A, and integrated N-MOSFET to reduce the external components count. This device is especially suitable for VRM module, notebook computer, motherboard, telecom, industrial and home appliances.Operating PrincipleThe operation of the MP4575GF is based on the pulse-width-modulation (PWM) technique. The PWM uses a fixed frequency, narrow pulsewidth voltage signal. When the controller determines that the voltage exceeds the input voltage regulation (VB), the outputswitch turns off and the current path is interrupted. Then, later when the input voltage decreases to VB, the output switch turns on again and sends the current to the load. By controlling the on and off time of the power MOSFET switch, the output voltage is regulated to the set point value. In addition, with the high voltage UVLO and OVLO design, the MP4575GF can be used for high voltage applications.Features of MP4575GFThe MP4575GF offers several features for better performance.
