PMIC - Supervisors
The MP6400DJ-12-LF-P is a supervisor circuit designed with system and battery protection in mind.It is used to provide monitoring of system power supply and detect power supply overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and battery low condition, as well as open wire detection, and will generate the corresponding outputs with an integral power on reset, power supply out pin and power good (PG) pin.

The Power On reset circuit monitors the power up state, and the Power Good circuit provides the open wire or short circuit detection.
The MP6400DJ-12-LF-P also integrates an adjustable auto-resetting timer for input power supply supervision, and two external resistor controlled reset outputs for input power supply supervision. The first reset output is used to reset the system frequently, and the second reset output is used to reset the system prematurely. The circuit also provides a power good signal which is sent to the system when the power is on and the power good signal is ready.
