The MPC8377CVRANG, better known as the Freescale MPC8377E processor, is an embedded processor specifically developed by Freescale for use in industrial, multimedia and embedded applications. Freescale\'s MPC8377E processor incorporates the enhanced power savings and system scalability derived from Freescale\'s Power Architecture, allowing designers to develop high-performance, low-power applications.

The MPC8377E processor is designed for a range of embedded systems and applications including high-end multimedia, industrial automation and control, network security and embedded systems. The powerhouse inside this processor is the Power Architecture core utilizing a 56-bit virtual memory architecture, permitting up to 32GB of physical address space.

The MPC8377CVRANG is a low-power processor optimized to provide a high performance at low cost while achieving high performance and low power consumption. This processor is capable of running at 833-1000 MHz, and with its integrated memory interface, it can easily connect with large DDR2 and DDR3 memory which makes this an ideal choice for embedded systems.
