The MRMS611M series offers a wide range of adjustment options for controlling the output sensitivity, which are controlled by an external resistor and/or an external voltage divider. The adjustment resistor also serves to set the device’s full-scale bandwidth and range.

The operating principle of the MRMS611M series is to convert the magnetic field surrounding the device into an electrical output voltage based on the Hall effect principle. The device is able to measure the strength of the magnetic field by using transverse sensing, which enables a linear response from the surrounding magnetic field.
