MRSS27H-001

MRSS27H-001 is magnetic sensors switches (solid state) device part of a large family of Reed Sensors. These switches use the basic hall effect technology, used in Hall Effect Sensors, to create a digital read out of the presence of a magnetic field. The Magnetic Reed Switch, or MRSS27H-001, is used to detect the presence or absence of a magnetic field in an area. Generally, the device will be used to detect the presence of a magnetic field in a instrumentation or detector application. In this application, the magnetic field will be used to trigger an action or alert or some kind of indication.

The working principle of MRSS27H-001 is based on the magnetic principle. It is a “Magnetic Reed Switch”, which works on the base of the presence of magnetic fields. This switch is equipped with a ferromagnetic reed blade which held in a chamber (reed chamber) in the body. When the reed blade is exposed to a magnetic field of a certain strength, it will actuate switches, either open or closed, located inside the device. If a magnetic field is applied, the two reed blades within the reed chamber will move towards each other, creating a contact. This contact then transmits signals, and can be used to trigger a circuit, or can be used to switch on or off a device, such as an alarm.
