Working Principle

The MTCC1R-010-010-01 connector system works on the principle of sliding contact rollers and pins. The connector system consists of two identical, but reverse-mounted, housings with up to 22 pins each, mounted in two rows of 11. The pins are connected by two identical sets of rollers, one of which is fixed and the other which slides. The sliding contact roller arrangement provides a strong connection between the two pins. The contact members between the two sets of pins are compressed by an internal spring, ensuring a tight grip of the roller against the pins.
