The MUR550APFG is a high-power rectifier diode, offering a unique combination of features which make it ideal for a wide range of applications. Its thermal design combines fast forward recovery times with high surge performance, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications including switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, AC-DC converters, and switching converters.

The forward voltage drop of this diode is only 0.9V and it supports a maximum reverse leakage current of 5mA, allowing it to offer extremely high current and power while still giving a low forward-voltage drop. The rectifier has a maximum forward current rating of 550A and peak surge current rating of up to 1100A, which make it suitable for use in high-current switching applications.
