Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) diodes are semiconductor components designed to protect other circuit elements from voltage transient events such as lightning, power failure, noise and other sources of electrical stress. The MXP5KE110CA is a unidirectional silicon avalanche diode in a SMA (DO-214 package) package with a unique dual-mode circuit protection design for added protection. It provides a breakdown voltage of 150 VPK with its very low capacitance of 370pF. It is able to protect up to two lines and has a maximum clamping voltage of 330V, making it ideal for a variety of applications.
