MXSMCG130CAE3 belongs to Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diodes family. It is a dual bidirectional transient voltage suppressor designed to protect low voltage components such as microprocessors, memories, digital and analog signal lines from ESD, lightning, load switch, power cross and other transient voltage overshoots. It is a specialized surface mount device with a HVSON package size of 3.6x3.2mm and a low profile of 0.9mm. This device has an excellent clamping performance with an Ipp of 130A and a VBR of 14.1V.

The main feature of MXSMCG130CAE3 is its excellent bidirectional capability that can provide effective protection against voltage surges from both directions. It effectively supports the component connected to it from the overvoltage caused due to ESD, inductive loading, power line cross conditions, and other sources. The dual junction array of these devices consists of two avalanche diodes connected in series in one integrated package. The MXSMCG130CAE3 also has excellent safety characteristics due to its ultra low leakage current and low clamping voltage capability.
