N8812BT is an advanced adjustable output temperature and/or current regulator from NEC Corporation. It is a discrete device and a complete regulator solution in a tube. The PWM signal then drives the two MOSFET transistors which convert the direct current input voltage into an output direct current voltage.The feedback network provides the output voltage feedback to the logic part of the buck regulator. This feedback voltage is compared to the voltage reference through an internal error amplifier circuit and the result of this comparison is used to control the duty cycle of the PWM signal. The duty cycle of the PWM signal is used to control the output voltage and current of the regulator.The linear control circuit is also used to control the output voltage and current. This circuit provides a low impedance path to the ground using an external feedback resistor and a capacitor. This creates an RC filter to reduce the ripple at the output of the N8812BT.The N8812BT can be used in a wide range of applications such as voltage regulators, current regulators, temperature controllers, motor speed control, power supplies, automotive electronics, high voltage power supplies and many more.
