The NB100ELT23LDT is an integrated field effect transistor (FET) logic-level translator. Working Principle

Connecting the A and B inputs to different logic levels causes the FET to conduct and the output levels appear on X and Y. When A and B are connected to the same logic level, the FET turns off and the outputs remain at a high impedance.

Since the NB100ELT23LDT is a low-voltage level translator, it does not require a separate bias voltage. It only requires input voltage levels of ±0.3 V. This saves power since there is no need to provide a separate bias.
