This device is one of the most versatile and adaptable clock generators available on the market. It allows designers to optimize their designs with the use of a single package, eliminating the need for an external clock distribution scheme. The NB2309AI1HDT supports a wide range of frequencies, providing stable and reliable clocking in a variety of applications.The NB2309AI1HDT is designed to make clock design simpler, cost effective and energy efficient. It features a wide variety of outputs, allowing designers to choose the most suitable clock source for each application. It is also designed to be robust and reliable, offering protection from over-temperature, under-voltage and over-voltage events. The NB2309AI1HDT is designed for use in PCIe Gen4, PCIe Gen3, PCIe Gen2, PCIe Gen1, Serial ATA III, SATA Express, MIPI Camera Serial Interface (CSI), DisplayPort, HDMI 1.3 and earlier, Serial Digital Interface (SDI), OpenFlow and other high-speed, high-bandwidth applications.The NB2309AI1HDT’s advanced frequency synthesis and clock generation techniques provide the flexibility, stability and accuracy required for complex, high-speed clock and communication applications. It operates on multiple clock sources, ranging from 28MHz to 205MHz, making it ideal for applications with strict requirements such as Data Center and High Definition Video applications. The NB2309AI1HDT also supports jitter detection and correction, frequency tracking and synchronization and additional functions, such as Frequency Shift Modulation (FSM), enabling designers to meet the stringent timing requirements of their applications.The NB2309AI1HDT is a full-featured device, with a wide variety of features that support intense clock and communication applications. It features a regenerative phase-locked loop (RPLL) topology which consists of a voltage-controlled oscilator (VCO), phase frequency detector (PFD), charge pump, and loop filter. The RPLL integrates the digitally programmable logic to maintain accuracy when the clock is changing and ensures maximum stability during temperature and voltage variations. The NB2309AI1HDT supports multiple clock inputs and outputs, allowing users to synchronize the frequency between multiple sources without the need for an external clock source.In addition, the device supports Spread Spectrum Clocking (SSC). SSC modulates the main clock frequency about a reference frequency and provides an effective reduction in electromagnetic interference (EMI). The NB2309AI1HDT also features an integrated oscillator and an adjustable voltage range for power optimization.
