NB3N65027DTG is a Clock/Timing – Clock Generators, PLLs, Frequency Synthesizers. It is specificly designed to be an high performance and low jitter clock generator. This device based on Flexible Direct Digital frequency synthesis (FlexDDS) technology, which provides superior Jitter performance on frequency and phase noise.The NB3N65027DTG is comprised of oscillator core and clock multiplier core, the oscillator cores use Nickel-Berylliumfrequency acoustic oscillators. It provides three main outputs and two configurable outputs. It also provides two reference clocks, two receive inputs, and one serial port.Applications:The NB3N65027DTG is specifically designed for a variety of applications that demand high performance and low jitter clock generator. It is a versatile device for applications such as high-speed microprocessors, network equipment, telecom systems and computing systems. It also can be used in rugged environment like battery power, shock and vibration, extreme temperature.Working principles:The working principles of the NB3N65027DTG are based on the Flexibel Direct Digital synthesis (FlexDDS) technology.The FlexDDS technology uses a Nickel-Berylliumfrequency acoustic oscillator (NBFO) as the frequency source, which is highly precise and stable. The NBFO is then modulated by a precise Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS), which provides superior Jitter performance on frequency and phase noise.The device has two different oscillator cores: a main oscillator core and a clock multiplier core.The main oscillator core uses a frequency setup register to control the operating frequency and a signal path to adjust the control voltage of the NBFO. The signal path includes a signal generator, a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), and a signal attenuator. The main oscillator core works together with the clock multiplier core to produce accurate clock outputs with low jitter in various divisions and multiples of the NBFO frequency.The clock multiplier core takes the signal from the main oscillator core and multiplies it up to provide multiple outputs at outputs of several frequencies. These outputs are determined by the register settings of the control bits.In addition, the device provides two reference clocks and two LVCMOS/LVDS receive inputs. The reference clocks are used to synchronize the DCM phase-locked loop in the device, providing excellent phase noise accuracy and jitter performance on multi-quadrature clock outputs (MxQCDO’s).The two LVCMOS/LVDS receive inputs are used to provide clock synchronization across different subsystems.The device also provides one serial port, which can be used to set up and control internal registers, as well as to configure the device\'s outputs as differential or LVCMOS outputs.In conclusion, the NB3N65027DTG is a high performance and low jitter clock generator specifically designed for applications that demand precision and accuracy. The FlexDDS technology in this device provides superior phase noise accuracy and jitter performance.
