Working Principle
NC7SV05FHX consists of four inverting gates, each with an active-low Vinx input and a Voutx output. The logic level at the input is determined by the voltage applied to the Vinx pin. If the applied voltage is greater than 0.3V, the logic level at the input will be low. If the applied voltage is less than 0.3V, the logic level at the input will be high.
For Voutx to be logic high, Vinx must be logic low. Voutx will be pulled to ground when the Vinx logic is high. The output can be pulled up to Vdd by an external pull-up resistor. The NC7SV05FHX has a dual purpose inputschokes that can be used either as open collectors (without pulling them up) or as pull-up resistors.
The NC7SV05FHX is designed to support output current of 10mA, with an operating temperature range from -40 to 85°. The speed of these logic gates are in the range of 50 ns and the power consumption is around 2mA when operated with a 3V power supply voltage.
