NC7SV157L6X is a logic - signal switches, multiplexers, decoders. It was created by Fairchild Semiconductor, a leader in the manufacture of highly reliable analog and logic integrated circuits. The device is a high-performance dual-channel bidirectional CMOS voltage level translator capable of operating over a wide range of supply voltages.The NC7SV157L6X is composed of two low on-resistance, bidirectional Dual Multiplexers/Demultiplexers (DMUX) and two voltage level shifters. The DMUXs have logic - controlled switching devices with four input/outputs. The level shifters provide low on-resistance with excellent high-speed characteristics. Both channels can support different voltage levels up to 5.5 Volts.The device\'s main application fields include digital and analog signal level translation, communication interface systems, transaction processing systems and interconnecting Network on Chip (NoC) switches.Thanks to its wide voltage operating range and its low on-resistance, the NC7SV157L6X is designed to meet the needs of a variety of applications. The NC7SV157L6X is compatible with the 1.65 to 3.6V LVCMOS logic families and can operate from a 1.8V to 5.5V supply voltage. Each channel operates independently and does not require external reference voltages. The NC7SV157L6X works by converting a logic signal from one voltage level to another. When a logic signal is applied, the voltage level from the input side of the device is converted to the output voltage level. This allows lower voltage logic signals to be translated to higher voltage levels, and vice versa. The device also includes a built-in glitch filter to ensure reliable and noise-free level shifting.The NC7SV157L6X is designed to provide an economical, low power solution for high speed logic-level translation. The low power consumption and small package size make it suitable for a variety of applications. Additionally, an open drain configuration enables direct connection to devices operating at different supply voltages. Overall, the NC7SV157L6X provides a flexible, high-performance solution for digital and analog signal level translation.
