It is an integrated step-down voltage regulator that offers high efficiency, excellent line and load regulation, and fast transient response. This device includes many advanced features, such as an adjustable operating frequency, a current mode control, an overvoltage protection, an input voltage range from 0-79V, and is enclosed in an SOIC-8 package.The NCP1013ST65T3G features a switching frequency up to 150kHz, which makes it ideal for use in applications where space is at a premium. It also features soft start, overvoltage protection, and pre-biased startup, making it ideal for a variety of AC-DC power supply applications including lighting,telecommunication, and consumer electronic systems. The NCP1013ST65T3G is designed using an current mode control topology, which makes it more efficient and allows for stable operation over a wide input voltage and output current range. Its Class-A drive system optimizes efficiency, reduces close frequency and EMI/EMC radiation. The device includes various protection features, including over-temperature protection, over-voltage protection, under-voltage lockout and short-circuit protection.
