The NCP1055P44 is a high performance, low cost, 8-pin, Monolithic Power Integrator (MPI) with capabilities as an off-line switcher, ACDC converter, and thermal protector. It is an ideal solution for applications such as portable electronics, consumer appliances, industrial automation, and renewable power systems. The NCP1055P44 is available in the industry standard SOT-23, DFN-3, and TO-220 package.
The NCP1055P44 is a high efficiency monolithic integrated power converter which features a switching frequency of up to 800 kHz, peak efficiency of up to 92%, and a very small footprint. This converter combines power MOSFET, control and feedforward loop, current limitation, and temperature protection with options for UVLO and frequency synchronization for a complete power solution.
The NCP1055P44 is specifically designed to provide a high level of protection from environmental conditions. It is capable of operating over an extended temperature range, from -40°C to +140°C, as well as a wide input voltage range from 6V to 24V.
