The NCP1216AFOWEVB is designed to be a versatile and reliable performance evaluation board.
The NCP1216AFOWEVB board comes pre-configured for DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) applications. The board is equipped with a 130V to 250V AC input range, a 5V to 12V DC output range, and a 0.5A to 5A output current. It offers adjustable switch current limiting and/or hiccup protection with an internal temperature protection circuit. The board also includes a set of power inductors, ceramic capacitors, and PCB footprints that optimize the power delivery and dissipate heat, ultimately allowing for more efficient and cooler operation. The board is also equipped with an LCD for power management and operational status, making it easy to monitor performance and make adjustments if needed.
The NCP1216AFOWEVB provides high performance and reliable power regulation and control. The power section of the board consists of a high-frequency DC-DC off-line switching converter-a full bridge bi-directional or bi-polar regulator.
