The board consists of a low-power AC/DC front end, followed by two isolated converters. The board uses two regulators; the primary PFP Buck DC/DC regulator and the MOSFET-based secondary buck regulator, with a peak current of 9A. The core of the PFP power stage is the NCP1247 PFP controller, which is specially designed for applications requiring high power density, high efficiency and low harmonics.
