Introduction:The NCP130BMX150TCG is a three terminal Voltage Regulator, and it is a Linear type voltage regulator. It is used to regulate an input voltage to an output voltage and it is designed to provide excellent transient response, high output accuracy, low dropout and an extended SVI (Secondary Voltage Indicator). The Output stage can be configured as an LDO or as a switching regulator depending on the load current. Mode transition between the two operation modes is performed using a MOSFET switch.Working Principle:The NCP130BMX150TCG works by adjusting the output voltage to match the INTVCC regulated voltage source. It achieves this goal by sampling the output voltage and then adjusting the output voltage in order to maintain accuracy. This is achieved by sensing the differential voltage between the output voltage and the INTVCC.When the output voltage is lower than the INTVCC, the output voltage is boosted.
