NPC1526EVB is a multi-functional off-line switching power supply evaluation board from ON Semiconductor, specially designed for the development and evaluation of NCP1526 series controller. The board is suitable for single-ended primary inductor converter (SEPIC) and flyback power supply applications. This evaluation board simplifies the design process and provides designers an immediate platform to jump start system evaluation. With advanced features and versatile synchronous rectifiers, the NCP1526 series controller integrates a high-speed gate driver based on advanced high-voltage technology, offering higher MOSFET and IGBT driving capability. It also has overcurrent and overload protection, internal dead-time control, several dimmer techniques, and a high-accuracy constant current loop (CCL) for LED lighting applications. The NCP1526EVB is the perfect solution for evaluating and exploring the features and benefits of the NCP1526 controller. It supports a wide range of input voltage range from 4.5V to 40V, and provides 0.45 V to 12V adjustable output voltage. The board also provides adjustable peak current protected step-down/step-up switching mode power supply, as well as precise LED driver applications. On the application side, the evaluation board is suitable for various device power requirements due to its feature set and wide input voltage range.
