The NCP160AFCT180T2G is a linear voltage regulator from ON Semiconductor\'s NCP160series. It has a low quiescent current of 1μA and is an ideal device for voltageregulating batteries, in power convertors, and for providing and maintaining biasvoltages. This device offers excellent output accuracy and line/load characteristicsand wide input and output voltages and comes in a space saving 3-pin SOT-23package.

This linear voltage regulator is a NAND Centre Control device, with a minimum loadcurrent of 2mA and a minimum dropout voltage of approximately 200mV at full load.It integrates two transistors, two voltage regulators and two current sources,which provide excellent output accuracy, line and load regulation, lowtemperature stability, fast transient response and wide input/output voltage range.The NCP160AFCT180T2G voltage regulator can be used to regulate all kinds of DCvoltage when connected to a power source.

The working principle of the NCP160AFCT180T2G voltage regulator is that when thecontrol voltage input is lower than the reference voltage input, the outputvoltage increases.
