NCP715MX25TBG is a 3A 2MHz Linear High PSR synchronous step-down DC-DC converter project, which is developed and manufactured by ON Semiconductor. The project has SMBus interface and digital loop features, and features a wide input range of 4V to 21V and selectable output voltage of 0.9V to 19V. Furthermore, it outputs with a high interleave factor of up to 2MHz, high system efficiency and very low output ripple, making it suitable to use in a wide range of applications.

NCP715MX25TBG is classified as a linear voltage regulator and is able to convert an unregulated DC voltage to a regulated, and lower, DC voltage output. This type of voltage regulator, which is also known as a linear voltage regulator, maintains an output voltage in response to changing load conditions, as a result of a narrowing or widening of the input/output voltage differential.
