The CLTRD mode also helps to reduce switching frequency of the internal power MOSFET, thus increasing its life span.

This device also features a three-phase PWM boost control mode, which provides clean and fast PWM operation and can be used in both standalone and multi-output applications. Additionally, this regulator allows automatic cycle-by-cycle current limit protection. This helps to protect the system from current overloads and under-runs.
