NCV33064D-5R2G is a high-accuracy triple power-on reset /voltage supervisor integrated with two high-side switches (N-Channel MOSFET) capable of operating in both PWM and linear modes. This component also provides current protection, fixed voltage reference and adjustable voltage reference. The component has an operating voltage range from 2.5V to 5.5V, being more suitable for automotive, industrial, and other related application. It can operate from -40℃ to +125℃ ambient temperature.

It consists of two high side switches (N-Channel MOSFET), two comparators, voltage reference, current limiter and 3 power on reset (PoR). The voltage reference is used to supply the 1.25V reference voltage to the comparator. The three PoR provides power-on-reset indication, wherein the voltage of VDD must reach higher than the threshold, then it creates a power on reset active signal. The PoR will follow the start up sequence about 3V/2V/1.25V, thus, allowing the system to get ready and enter normal operation.
In terms of current protection, NCV33064D-5R2G can provide continuous current limitation and the fold back characteristic. It uses two external resistor configuration to set the fold back current level. The component it is also able to detect open load condition, thus preventing the system to be damaged. Lastly, the component is able to detect power faults, such as over-voltage, under voltage, over current, etc. and also toggle two external MOSFET switches.
