NCV8460ADR2G device is a Power Distribution Switch, Load Drivers and Step-Down DCDC Controller making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It is especially suitable for Li-Ion battery powered automotive accessories and consumer electronics, as well as industrial, medical, and aviation. It is highly reliable and robust with a wide operating temperature range from -40C to 150C and a wide input voltage range from 2V to 28V.
The main features of NCV8460ADR2G device include: an integrated power distribution switch, an integrated 13A step-down DC/DC converter, a high side load switch, adjustable dead-time for improved crossover efficiency, output voltage range from 1.2V to 6V, integrated low-voltage powering and integrated over-voltage protection. Furthermore, this device also includes other protection such as Over-Current, Under-Voltage, Over-Voltage, and Short Circuit protection. It also has a variable switching frequency range from 1KHz to 4MHz.
The power distribution switch and field effect transistors used in the NCV8460ADR2G device provide high output current and excellent efficiency. It can be used as a step-down DC/DC converter, which helps to step down a higher input voltage to lower regulated output voltages while meeting the design requirements of ultra-low power, space, and cost.
