It is capable of working in temperatures ranging from -40 to 80°C and offers an operating lifetime of up to 10 million cycles. The NGCMB10AX24A1A offers a contact resistance of 5 mΩ and a maximal contact current of 10A, making it perfect for medium-sized switches which require precise and reliable contact switch-off.The switch operates with a snap-action principle. When the switch is triggered, a inclined contact lever snaps into position and makes contact with a fixed contact arm. The contact is made via a gold-plated contact plate, and it is this plate that is responsible for controlling the current flow through the switch to its load. When the switch is triggered, contact is established and the load is powered; when the trigger is released contact is broken and the load is de-energized.There are two major applications of the NGCMB10AX24A1A. Firstly, it is commonly used as a limit switch, where it is triggered as an object reaches a certain predetermined position.
