The NJM79L12A is a linear voltage regulator IC used in low-dropout (LDO) applications. It is a 3-terminal voltage regulator device that is position and output voltage mode controlled and will regulate positive or negative output voltages. This device provides an extremely low dropout of only 0.2V and features low quiescent current, precision or non-precision output voltage setting, adjustable output current limiting and thermal protection.
