For the demultiplexer, an active low signal is to be applied to the select pin of the demultiplexer, so that the selected input will appear at the output pins. The enable pin of the NLVHC157ADR2G, E, must be applied with a logic 0 signal in order for the multiplexer and demultiplexer to operate.
