Temperature Sensors - NTC Thermistors are used to measure the temperature of a system or environment. The NTCS0402E3472GMT is an example of an thermistor which can be used to accurately measure the temperature of an environment or system. It is a small, inexpensive, and highly reliable thermistor which offers excellent accuracy and stability over a wide temperature range.

The NTCS0402E3472GMT is a four-terminal thermistor with three terminals that are connected to the source (VREF1) and two terminal connected to the load (VOUT and GND). The thermistor works by sensing the temperature change by using the resistance changes that occur as the temperature of the system or environment changes.

The NTCS0402E3472GMT operates in two different types of modes. The active mode is where the thermistor is connected between the source and load such that the source can measure the resistance of the thermistor.
