Linear - Amplifiers - Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer Amps
OA2ZHA22Q is a high-performance amplifying linear amplifier designed for high resolution, precision audio and power instrumentation applications. It is an ideal choice for applications such as test and measurement systems, medical instrumentation, motor control, audio and communication systems.
The OA2ZHA22Q features a low-noise, wide bandwidth output stage, wide input and output range, high linearity and low offset. The device is small, lightweight and offers low operating temperature and power consumption.
OA2ZHA22Q is fabricated using a combination of conventional and advanced semiconductor processes. It is designed to operate from a single supply, and the power supply range is 2.5V to 24V. The maximum output voltage range of OA2ZHA22Q is +/-20V.
Working Principle
Instrumentation amplifiers must have high input impedances to minimize signal loading. The OA2ZHA22Q features two inputs and one output. These inputs are connected in a differential mode and their voltages are subtracted, so that only the difference between the two signals is amplified. The signal at the output is directly proportional to the difference between the two input signals.
In addition, the high input impedances of the OA2ZHA22Q minimize the loading of the signal source and allow the instrumentation amplifier to function as a voltage follower. This allows for a much faster response time and improved accuracy for monitoring dynamic electrical signals.
The OA2ZHA22Q also features a slew rate limiting feature that prevents excessive current from being outputted. This is done by limiting the maximum rate at which the output can be changed in order to protect the output stage from excessive current or voltage.
Applications
The OA2ZHA22Q is an ideal choice for applications requiring precision linear amplification, such as medical and industrial instrumentation, motor control systems, audio systems, and more. The device’s low-noise, wide bandwidth output stage, wide input and output range, high linearity and low offset make it particularly well-suited for monitoring dynamic electrical signals.
The OA2ZHA22Q can also be used in industrial and consumer electronics applications, such as audio systems and motor control, as well as in communication systems and other electronic circuits. It is well-suited for noninvasive, non-contact sensing applications, as well as for driving audible, captive and electromagnetic actuators.
