The OM13574UL Evaluation Board is a DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS (switched-mode power supply) designed by NXP and manufactured by Omron Corporation. It is designed to operate in switching, buck, boost, and other non-linear power supply topologies. It can be used to design equipment that require a reliable source of power, such as telecom, industrial, medical, and automotive products. The OM13574UL board has several integrated components, including a simplified half-bridge regulator (HVR), a synchronous PFC, and a low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator.

The OM13574UL Evaluation Board\'s half-bridge rectifier performs switching between the stored energy in the input supply and the output current. The pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller used in the half-bridge rectifier performs synchronization between the voltage feedback and the reference voltage. This ensures the output voltage remains stable within the operating range. The half-bridge rectifier also has a maximum duty cycle of 98%.

The PFC (power factor correction) circuit is used to improve the power factor of the power supply and reduce standby power losses.
