Linear-Amplifiers-Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer AmpsThe OP727ARZ-REEL7 is an exceptionally powerful Operational Amplifier (O/P Amp) used in instrumentation applications. It is ideally suited for high precision linear applications which require extremely low power consumption and a high level of performance. This O/P Amp is designed to amplify analog signals while maintaining a high level of isolation, delivering extremely small voltage offsets, fast response time and excellent precision.
In its simplest form, the OP727ARZ-REEL7 is a highly efficient, linear amplifier with a very low power consumption. Its output can be tailored to most any application. It is capable of amplifying signals from DC to over 15 MHz and providing high levels of performance and accuracy.
The O/P Amp contains two stages, the gain stage and the level shifting stage. The gain stage is responsible for amplifying the input signal and increasing the signal/noise ratio. This stage gets its input from the level shifting stage, allowing it to apply a gain of up to 27 dB. The level shifting stage is responsible for transferring the input voltage to a higher voltage level, based on the settings of the input voltage.
During the operation, the level shifting stage will adjust the input voltages to the required level, while the gain stage will then transduce the differences in the output voltage of the two stages. This enables the O/P Amp to accurately amplify the input signal and to maintain a high level of isolation between the input and output.
The OP727ARZ-REEL7 is also equipped with a temperature range operating temperature of -45 to 105°C, enabling it to be used in many different types of applications. It is also highly efficient, with a typical power consumption of 1 mW and a standby consumption of 0.25 mW.
