Additionally, its low power consumption of only 4.8mA, and its low operating voltage of ±2.61 – 5.5V make it an optimal choice for portable audio devices.

Working Principle

The OPA1602AIDR is a high-precision monolithic operational amplifier featuring integrated voltage noise cancellation and buffering capabilities. It is constructed using precision laser-trimmed polysilicon thin-film resistors, low-noise bipolar transistors and integrated polysilicon gate arrays. The OPA1602AIDR uses a unique input stage structure consisting of an internally compensated common-source voltage follower for excellent noise performance. This allows for a wide input common-mode voltage range of ±2.61 – 5.5V, with a high common-mode rejection ratio of >80dB from DC up to 60MHz. Additionally, the buffer stage uses an internally-compensated cascode configuration for ultra-low noise performance.

The OPA1602AIDR features a low offset voltage of <2mV and low offset drift over time. It can provide up to a high impedance voltage-level output, with a typical output offset voltage of <0.3mV and a low noise output of <1µVrms. Its slew rate is also up to 10V/µs, making it well-suited for high performance audio applications where fast frequency response and low distortion are required.

The OPA1602AIDR also features an integrated linear amplifier, making it ideal for precision data acquisition and measuring systems. Its low distortion and low noise performance make it highly suitable for other applications such as digital-to-analog conversion and voltage sensors, as well as for driving capacitive loads, such as speakers and drivers.
