The OPA1654AID is a fully differential amplifier that is designed to improve the performance of audio and instrumentation systems as well as other applications. This type of amplifier offers high precision and low noise with excellent transfer function characteristics up to gain frequencies of 10MHz. It is made up of a differential amplifier coupled with a high frequency gain stage that can be used for both voltage and current sweeping applications. This amplifier is available in two versions: the OPA1654AIDL and the OPA1654AIDG.

The OPA1654AID application field includes linear-amplifiers, instrumentation, op amps, and buffer amps. Linear amplifiers are circuits that provide audio signal amplification with a constant signal-to-noise ratio over a wide bandwidth. Instrumentation amplifiers are used to amplify low-level signals from sensors or transducers such as signal-conditioning modules, force-balance bridges, strain-gauges, accelerometers, and thermocouples. Op amps are voltage amplifiers commonly used in signal conditioning circuits. Buffer amplifiers are used to provide signal isolation between circuits and can be used to convert a high-impedance signal to a low-impedance signal.

The OPA1654AID is also suitable for use in AC signal applications such as filtering, level detection, and sample-rate conversion. The OPA1654AID has two modes of operation: single ended and differential. In single-ended mode, the OPA1654AID uses a single input to amplify the signal.
