This operational amplifier typically provides up to 2 MHz of gain-bandwidth and up to 20 dB of gain-control. In addition to the gain, the OPA211AIDRGT also provides a variety of features such as diode protection, current-limiting and output-protection for both ICs and external components.The OPA211AIDRGT’s varied range of features enable it to be used for a variety of applications in linear amplifiers, instrumentation, OP amps and buffer amps. It consists of two inputVoltage Difference Amplifiers (VDAs) whose inputs are connected to the two parts of the instrument. The VDAs amplify the voltage difference between the two parts of the instrument, producing an amplified output voltage. This amplified output is then fed to the Instrument Gain Control circuitry, allowing the user to adjust the gain of the system. The adjusted voltage is then fed to the I.D. Routing Gain Topping operation circuitry, which further adjusts the gain so that the final output remains distortion-free.The OPA211AIDRGT is an ideal solution for providing gain control, distortion-free signal amplification and wide-bandwidth capabilities in a variety of applications. Its low-cost, low-noise and highly stable operation make it a preferred solution for many demanding signal processing operations.
