The OPIA403BTR is an opto-isolator module formulated with a four-channel differential system. This device offers excellent isolation, ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) protection, strong data, and pulse waveform stability, and high transient resistance. It is also used to improve robustness in data transmission systems so that unwanted signal noise is filtered out.

Among the various types of opto-isolators, the OPIA403BTR is classified as a ”transistor-photovoltaic output” type. In this type, a phototransistor is incorporated to provide the transistor output, and a photodiode is included to generate the necessary voltage needed for isolation.
