They contain a piezoelectric crystal within the pressure sensing chamber, which is electrically connected to a circuit board.
Resonant wire pressure sensors measure pressure by measuring the frequency of oscillation of a resonant wire. They contain a vibrating element surrounded by a liquid or gas in a sealed chamber. The oscillating frequency of the wire is altered when there is a change in pressure, allowing the pressure to be measured.
