This transducer is a micro-machined silicon-based piezoresistive transducer. The sensing element consists of a number of semiconductor layers on top of a silicon substrate, bonded together by a multi-layer membrane configuration. The pressure or vacuum is converted to an electrical signal via an Wheatstone bridge formation. This makes the transducer very sensitive to changes in pressure and highly accurate.

The transducer\'s response time is exceptionally fast, allowing it to provide instantaneous temperature readings in as little as 300 microseconds. In addition to this, the transducer is able to measure pressure in extreme temperatures, going from -60°C up to +125°C. Moreover, it is characterized by a long-term stability and reliability of up to 5 million cycles.

The transducer is equipped with a built-in signal conditioning circuit. This enables it to provide an amplified output signal even in the harshest of environments. The output signal is also completely linear, with no drift or zero-point errors. Furthermore, the transducer is supplied with a 5 VDC power supply, making it even easier to integrate into existing systems.

This transducer is highly suitable for many industrial and automotive applications, offering fast response times, wide temperature and pressure range, and long-term stability and reliability.
