Principle of Operation

The PA73M/883 amplifier contains four independent non-inverting input stages, operating at supply voltages as low as 5.5V, with a maximum supply voltage of 16V. The low supply voltage allows the PA73M/883 to be operated from battery or AC-DC supplies. The integrated noninverting amplifier provides a gain of two for each input stage. This range of gain is adjustable from x2 to x1024, with a gain accuracy of 1%. The offset current is less than 200nA, which makes the amplifier suitable for measuring very low current signals.The PA73M/883 amplifier can be used for low level signals, as well as for large current signals up to 500mA.
