PC815I optoisolators are galvanically isolated optocouplers with transistor, photovoltaic output. An optocoupler is an electronic device that links two electrical circuits together, with one operating, usually on a higher voltage, and the other operating at a lower voltage. PC815I optocouplers do this by using a light-emitting diode and a phototransistor.
